📅 October 7th & October 8th
⏰ 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Are you ready to represent South Davis Jr. High Basketball? Before trying out for any South Davis Jr. High athletic team, students must meet the following eligibility requirements:
Athletic Eligibility Standards
✅ 2.0 GPA (Grade Point Average) in the preceding term
Cannot be appealed per District Policy.
✅ 2.0 CPA (Citizenship Point Average) in the preceding term
✅ No more than one F and no U's in the term preceding tryouts
✅ No outstanding U's
All U's must be made up before participation.
Appeals Process
Students who are deficient in one or two of the criteria listed above (excluding GPA) may submit a letter of appeal to the Standards Committee prior to tryouts.
Students deficient in three or more criteria are not eligible to appeal.
Maintain Eligibility
To remain eligible throughout the season, student-athletes must continue to meet all eligibility standards listed above.
Register My Athlete Requirement
⚠️ A current physical must be uploaded to Register My Athlete before participating in tryouts.
All athlete registrations must be fully completed and approved before a student may try out.
